I was hooked before I started the first page because:
1. True crime 🔪 + ghost story 👻
2. This author is a master and one of my all-time favorites
Very quick synopsis: The Lady Killer Murders (two men were randomly shot and killed by a mysterious woman) happened in 1977 and Beth Greer was a slam dunk suspect - especially since she was seen fleeing the crime. But, she was acquitted and started an isolated life in the Greer mansion.
Flash forward to 2017. Shea Collins runs a true crime website, the Book of Cold Cases—and she was always fascinated by The Lady Killer Murders. She meets Beth by chance and asks to interview her - and Beth says yes. And the interviews need to be at the Greer house - which - well - isn't quite right.
This awesome book hits shelves March 15, 2022!
