When No One is Watching

This thriller asks: When does coincidence become conspiracy? Where do people go when gentrification pushes them out?

Sydney Green is Brooklyn born and raised – and she loves her neighborhood and her neighbors. But something is suspicious. Her neighbors are disappearing literally overnight – being replaced with new white families like nothing is amiss. In fact, it seems like her entire history is being replaced, and she decides to do a walking tour to teach people the true heritage of this neighborhood – and it’s not white. She ends up pairing up with her (white guy) neighbor Theo for this tour, but things get weird – quick.

This is an insane and disturbing story that dually spotlights the deep roots of racism and keeps you flying through the pages. It’s a very different thriller and you won’t be able to put this one down – and you’ll keep thinking about it, too.
