At age 12, Azere made a dying wish to her father - she would marry a Nigerian man and preserve her culture even after emigrating to Canada. And then she meets Rafael Castellano - an amazing (white) guy - and suddenly her one-night stand becomes something real.
Torn between her family, her culture, and her heart - I adored Azere’s journey - and I highly recommend this book from the talented @jane_igharo ❤️
